Lokesh hands over cheques

AP Chief Minister’s son visits kin of children killed in Masaipet tragedy. Consoling the bereaved family members, Mr. Lokesh said the Telugu Desam would stand by all Telugu people in times of distress.

Nara Lokesh, son of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and coordinator of TDP cadre welfare fund, visited six villages in Medak district on Wednesday and handed over cheques of Rs.1 lakh each to the kith of 16 children, besides the driver and cleaner, who were killed in the recent train-bus mishap.

Consoling the bereaved family members, Mr. Lokesh said the Telugu Desam would stand by all Telugu people in times of distress.

He said the NTR Trust would support the education of other children of the affected families.

He visited the Islampur, Gundreddypalli, Venkataiahpalli, Krishnapuram, Ghanpur and Veluturu.
