A laser show depicting images of well-known poets from Telangana and a two-line scroll on their contribution will mark the culmination of the World Telugu Conference on December 19.

The 25-minute show which will also have the image of the historic Kakatiya arch will be accompanied by a classical dance by about 30 artistes, making it a live and virtual performance.

The laser show and the dance will be on a large stage which is being readied at the venue, Lal Bahadur Stadium. The lyrics will be provided by Suddala Ashok Teja and dance composition by Deepika Reddy and her team. The laser show will be followed by computer-aided fire works, it was discussed at a high-level meeting on the arrangements for the conference.

The meeting, presided by Chief Secretary S.P. Singh, discussed the layout of the stage and seating arrangements for the visitors.

Sources said the Government aimed at making the event a life-time experience for people passionate about language and literature. Mr. Singh instructed officials of all departments to complete the arrangements at the earliest.

They must ensure sign boards in Telugu at the stadium, he said.
