KCR's effigy burnt in OU

September 20, 2010 12:51 pm | Updated 12:51 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

A group of students have burnt an effigy of TRS supremo, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, at Arts College in OU on Sunday condemning his statement to maintain friendly relation with Congress MP, Lagadapati Rajagopal, ‘who is against separate Telangana State movement'.

The students' group belonging to SC, ST, Backward Classes and minorities alleged that KCR had created confusion among pro-Telangana activists by his remarks over Rajagopal.

“During a discussion on a Telugu TV news channel he said I love you Rajagopal. Irrespective of the subject, KCR created doubts in the minds of Telangana supporters with his statement,” they said setting a 48-hour-deadline to explain his remarks.
