Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has conveyed his greetings to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on his 68th birthday on Thursday.
In a message, Mr Rao wished Mr. Naidu a healthy and long life and the AP Chief Minister thanked Mr. Rao for his wishes. Meanwhile, the Telugu Desam Party Telangana State unit organised Mr. Naidu’s birthday celebrations at NTR Trust, the party’s State headquarters, this morning. Sarees were distributed to poor women by the party’s BC cell and a blood donation camp was also organised on the occasion.
Led by TDP-TS president L. Ramana, the party leaders and activists garlanded the statue of TDP founder and former Chief Minister late N.T. Rama Rao kick starting the celebrations. The TDP leaders and cadre cut the cakes in different parts of the city to mark the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ramana recalled how Mr. Naidu played a key role in developing Hyderabad to international standards.
Senior leaders M. Narsimhulu, R. Chandrasekhar Reddy and others recalled Mr. Naidu’s initiatives for all round development of backward classes and weaker sections during his tenure as the Chief Minister of the erstwhile united State.
