KCR alls on Kumaraswamy at Bengaluru

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekara Rao called on Mr. H. D. Kumara Swamy, who will be taking the oath as Karnataka Chief Minister on Wednesday, in Bengaluru and congratulated him.

The Chief Minister, who went to Bengaluru in a special flight, also met JD (S) chief H. D. Deve Gowda. He was said to have conveyed the message that he would not be able to attend the swearing-in ceremony owing to prior engagements. The Chief Minister flew back on Tuesday night to Hyderabad.

Mr. Deve Gowda personally received Mr. Rao and presented a bouquet to him. Mr. Rao felicitated Mr. Kumaraswamy with a shawl.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Telangana Assembly Speaker Madhusudhana Chary, Deputy Chief Minister Mahmud Ali, TRS general secretary K. Keshava Rao, and Health Minister C. Laxma Reddy.
