A pair of jaguar cubs aged about eight months was released for public display at the Nehru Zoological Park here on Thursday.
The female and male cubs named by zoo staff as ‘Swarna’ and ‘Arya’ were born to ‘Suchi’ and ‘Suleman’, the jaguar pair at zoo and were released in the enclosure by the animal keepers in the presence of senior officers. The addition has the number of jaguars at the zoo going up to six, according to a press release.
