IT Minister meets foreign delegates

Minister of IT and Municipal Administration K.T. Rama Rao met many foreign delegates in Delhi on Tuesday. He interacted with South Korea’s ambassador to India, Hyun Cho, and sought the country’s cooperation for various development projects of the State. The Taiwan Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association members also met Mr. Rao, who invited them to the State. He said that the government will give importance to the proposals of the association. He also briefed the members about the Electronics policy of the State. The Minister was invited by the association for the Taiwan-India Industrial Collaboration Summit to be held in October this year. One of the young and successful entrepreneurs of the country, Ritesh Agarwal, CEO of Oyo Rooms, also called on the Minister in Delhi. Mr. Agarwal informed the Minister that Hyderabad is the third largest market after Bengaluru and NCR Delhi. He enquired about newer opportunities in the State, to which Mr. Rao responded by inviting him to Hyderabad.
