A 17-year-old boy jumped to death from his hostel building in Hydernagar on Saturday morning.

The victim, a native of Krishna district, was studying intermediate second year at a corporate boarding college in Hydernagar here. Miyapur police said that the teen jumped off from the second floor of his hostel building around 5 a.m., when other students completed their ablutions to be in time for morning study hours.

A suicide note purportedly written by the victim was recovered from the spot in which he stated that he could not be an ideal son to his father and does not want to live.
