The Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board officials have asked the people residing on either side of Musi river to be cautious as it has lifted four gates of Himayathsagar by three feet on Friday evening to release 4,000 cusecs of water into Music river.

Officials said Himayathsagar reservoir has reached its Full Reservoir Level of 1763.50 feet and further inflows are expected resulting in lifting of gates. Officials said that more gates could be opened if the inflows are more.
