Heritage fest for school students from July 27

Hare Krishna Movement - Hyderabad, will organise ‘Heritage Fest,’ competition of Indian heritage-based events for school students from LKG to 10th Standard from July 27 till September 2 at different parts of the city.

This is an open competition for students from any school with free entry.

Cultural contests are to be held in Rangoli, Gita chanting, flower arrangement, folk dance, classical music and dance, elocution, painting, sketching and storytelling to tap the children’s creativity, intellect and artistic inclinations.

While participants will get a certificate, winners will be given gold, silver and bronze medals, mementos, and trophies.

Around 15,000 certificates, medals and over 100 trophies will be given away during prize distribution. An attractive “Champion trophy” will also be presented to the school with overall best performance and a runner-up trophy will be given to the school coming second.

Next top three schools will also be rewarded with mementoes.

A special memento will also be given to the school with the maximum number of entries in the fest.

Prize for teachers

Teachers who train the winning students will also be given citation certificates.

Prizes and certificates will be given by the president of Hare Krishna Movement - Hyderabad Satya Goura Chandra Dasa after September 2 and this will be communicated to the schools latter, a press release said.
