The revenue officials have reclaimed about five acres of government land in Kandi mandal headquarters on Wednesday. It was the stated that the value of the land would be around ₹ 25 crore.

According to a release , the land was claimed to have been allotted to retired army personnel and constructions were even made. However, an inquiry by the officials proved otherwise; based on which the officials reclaimed resumed the land. MRO Govardhan and Sangareddy (Rural) Sub-Inspector Shivalingam and others participated in resuming activity.
