Syed Rehamtullah, who suffered injuries in Gokul Chat bomb blast three years ago, requested Hyderabad Collector Syed Ali Murtuza Rizvi to render justice to him as the State government failed to provide financial assistance and other benefits announced after the blast.
“My family spent Rs. 20 lakh towards medical expenses as I suffered injuries on ears and eyes in the blast. Please help us as we are facing hardships,” said Rehamtullah who resides in Green Park Colony.
In response, the Collector advised him to first apply for pension and house site with the help of a ration card.
He also suggested him to apply for Rajiv Arogyasri health scheme.
The Collector received other applications pertaining to issues of ration cards and pensions, besides providing employment opportunities, during ‘Mee Kosam’ programme held here on Monday.
Slum dwellers from Singadakunta requested to construct a school building in the government land as their children were facing problems while going to school.
