GHMC will conduct melas on November 16 and 17 in each of its zones to dispose off the pending applications for Layout Regularisation Scheme, according to instructions issued by Commissioner B.Janardhan Reddy on Friday.
City planners of the respective zones have been instructed to make necessary arrangements for the mela and ensure disposal of 150 applications per day.
The applicants with shortfall of documents are to be targeted for disposal if they come with necessary documents, and the same should be uploaded at zonal office instantly. Likewise, if fee is paid by the applicants, proceeding letters should be issued instantly, the instructions said.
Applicants should be intimated about the date and time of the mela through SMS, in coordination with the Centre for Good Governance.
City Planner of the East Zone will coordinate for the process, the Commissioner instructed.
