To improve the start-up ecosystem in the city, an offline event will be organised to help early-stage companies spot and hire potential candidates.
The ‘Headstart Higher’ will be organised by the Headstart Network on Saturday, December 20, at IIIT-Hyderabad. About 40 start-ups and 100 candidates are expected to participate in the event.
The event will facilitate maximum interactions between start-ups and candidates in minimum time, through its unique speed-dating format. Candidates and start-ups are required to pass an online assessment prior to the event.
Member of Headstart’s founding team Ramesh Loganathan said the event was trying to build on a strong platform created by the monthly ‘Start-up Saturday Programme’, that has been on for seven years in Hyderabad.
Headstart Higher has seen more than 250 start-ups and 400 candidates participate nationally and has facilitated about 50 start-ups to hire quality candidates through this initiative.
