Telugu film producer Bandla Ganesh and event organiser S. Vijay Kumar surrendered before the Ranga Reddy District Court here on Tuesday in connection with a case registered against them following the death of one Raju at the audio release function of junior NTR starrer ‘Baadshah’ at Nanakramguda two days ago.

The duo later moved a bail petition, following which the court granted them bail.

The Raidurgam Police booked the case under Section 304A (causing death by negligence) of the IPC against Ganesh and Kumar after 22-year-old Raju was trampled to death during the audio release function on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters, Ganesh regretted Raju’s death and promised that he would financially help the bereaved family.
