‘Expedite work in R&R colonies’

Collector P. Venkataram Reddy has directed the officials to speed up construction of double bedroom houses in Rehabilitation and Resettlement colonies meant for land oustees under Kondapochamma reservoir and Mallannasagar reservoirs. He held a review meeting with Joint Collector M. Padmakar, RDO D. Vijayender Reddy, Irrigation Superintendent Engineer Venu, Panchayat Raj Executive Engineer Rajasekhar Reddy and others here on Friday.

He asked officials to supervise work at field level for the next two days and submit a report, and prepare estimates of drainage, roads and community hall. He said tahsildars and surveyors of Mulugu and Gajwel should survey the land and ensure that it is properly utilised.
