Telangana University signs MoU with Chicago State University. Can secure admissions in the Chicago State University directly without GRE and TOEFL tests.

The Chicago State University in the USA and Telangana University at Nizamabad have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for exchange of students and teachers. The MoU was signed by the officials of the two universities in the presence of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao here on Sunday.

After signing the MoU Senior Vice President (academic affairs) of the Chicago University David Kanis stated that they had entered into the agreement with Telangana University with initiative of Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha. The MoU would enable the students of Telangana University secure admissions in the Chicago State University directly without GRE and TOEFL tests.

The agreement was reached on exchange of students in computer science and technical education departments and it would be extended to chemical technology, pharmaceutical and nursing departments in future. The MoU would help rural students from Telangana to pursue education in the US, Ms. Kavitha stated.

On behalf of Telangana University, its in-charge Vice Chancellor C. Parthasarathi signed the MoU. Ministers n. Narsimha Reddy and P. Srinivas Reddy, Special Advisor to State Government D. Srinivas and others were present on the occasion.
