Double murder at Hyderabad

A retired railway official and his wife were found murdered in their house at Ashok colony of Kapra in Kushaiguda on Wednesday morning. Bodies of D. Laxmana Murthy, retired Travel Ticket Examiner of South Central Railways, and D. Krishnaveni, were found in their bedroom. Police believe they were smothered to death. Their son, Rambabu, a software engineer, lives in Washington, and their daughter Padmavati, a housewife, resides in the same colony in another house a kilometre away. Motive behind the murders is not yet known, Alwal ACP Santosh Kumar said. No property was lost.
