All India Federation of Master Printers felicitated Kasturi Balaji in recognition of The Hindu group’s contribution to the printing industry here on Sunday. He is the Director of Kasturi & Sons Limited, the publishers of The Hindu .

The felicitation took place during the federation’s 235th general council meeting held at Ramoji Film City where the federation also discussed several issues facing the industry and measures that can be taken. Editor of Namasthe Telengana, K. Shekar Reddy, and Narendra Paruchuri of Pragati Printers were also felicitated at the event. Presidents of the federation and Telangana Offset Printers’ Association (TOPA) Kamal Chopra and Ravinder Reddy respectively, along with office-bearers of both the organisations were present.

Some issues that were discussed included safety and preparedness for disaster at printing press.
