CWC team to see Mission Kakatiya

Mission Kakatiya, the flagship programme of the State government for restoring tanks and lakes across the State, has attracted the attention of several other States.

A 30-member delegation of senior officials from Maharashtra, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh will arrive in the State to visit various project sites under Mission Kakatiya and undertake impact studies. The team, coming as part of tour organised by the Central Water Commission, is slated to arrive here on Monday and it would visit Toopran in Medak district followed by a visit to Narsapur. The team will later visit the tanks at Koudipalli mandal. They would also meet senior officials of the Irrigation department.
