Severe punishment must be awarded to the culprits, it said. The preliminary inquiry into the gangster’s crime records has revealed that he had support from governments and the police in his misdeeds and amassing of wealth, a press release from the party said. Taking his support many political leaders and police officials had earned millions of rupees, besides using him to eliminate the civil society leaders and civil liberties activists, it said.
