Cordon and search operation conducted

The Cyberabad police, early on Sunday, conducted a cordon and search operation at Jeedimetla and detained seven persons for failing to produce identity documents. Another ten history sheeters were also held.

Joint Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, T.V. Shashidhar Reddy, supervised the cordon and search operation. He was assisted by about 400 police personnel including ACPs, Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors. Armed police teams and tear gas units were also part of the contingent.

The police also seized 16 LPG cylinders, 10 vehicles and six bundles of detonator wire during the operation.
