The condition of the blast victims who were seriously injured and admitted to various private hospitals in the capital continued to remain critical, but stable. On Wednesday, two patients, Avappa and Syed Abdul Wasey, from Yashoda Hospitals, Malakpet were discharged.
At Care Hospitals, Nampally, the condition of Vijaya Prasad, who has severe lung injury and multiple shrapnel injuries, continues to remain critical. According to Medical Director, Care Hospitals, Dr. D. N. Kumar, the patient needs to be on ventilator for some more time.
Another critically injured blast victim, Yadaiah Goud, who received injuries to the spine, hip, elbow, lung and brain, is off the ventilator from Tuesday. Another critical patient Sai Rohit Goud, who was in ICU, has been shifted to a room in Care Hospitals, Nampally.
At Yashoda Hospitals, Malakpet, of the 12 remaining patients, two patients including Pandu Ranga Reddy and Ravi Kumar continue to remain critical.
Meanwhile, at Omni Hospitals, the four patients Rajender Reddy, Durga Prasad, Parameshwar and Venkateshwar Rao are stable. The hospitals doctors said that all the four would be discharged in a day or two.
