May 19, 2014 07:19 pm | Updated October 10, 2016 08:21 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Encouraged by increased consumer interest in German car major Audi’s products, its partner in Andhra Pradesh, Audi Hyderabad on Monday said it would expand its footprint by opening a showroom in Vijayawada in another 12-16 months.

“In the three months since we have opened a sales and service establishment in Visakhapatnam, we have managed a 50 market share of all luxury cars sold in the region. Consumer interest in tier-II cities like Warangal, Bhimavaram, Guntur, Rajahmundry and Vijayawada has led to the impressive sale of automobile products,” Audi Hyderabad Managing Director Rajiv M. Sanghvi said, on the sidelines of the launch of the Audi A8L here. The vehicle comes with a price tag of Rs.1.15 crore.
