Showcasing a part of collection of Jagdish and Kamla Mittal Museum in the city, a two-volume work Deccani Paintings, Drawings and Manuscripts was launched here on Thursday evening.

On the sidelines of a three-day seminar on Dakhan, the books were unveiled.

Speaking at the launch, John Seyller, who has co-authored the book, showed a few paintings and narrated the story of evolution of paintings in the Deccan.

Mr. Mittal narrated stories of how he came across various paintings .
