Bear escapes from Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad

At around 10 p.m, a few local youth noticed the bear running on the boundary wall of the zoo park and alerted the zoo officials.

A bear escaped from its cage at the Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad on Monday night resulting in panic in the Bahadurpura area. Veterinary doctors and zoo officials are trying to tranquilise the animal.

At around 10 p.m, a few local youth noticed the bear running on the boundary wall of the zoo park and alerted the zoo officials.

A team from the zoo park rushed to the spot and started efforts to capture it. Later, a team of veterinary doctors from the zoo park tried to tranquilise the animal. The team succeeded in confining it to the zoo park area. A huge crowd gathered at the place on coming to know of the incident .
