The officials of Agriculture Department handed over the data of farmers of another 671 villages to the bankers given the responsibility of printing cheques for the disbursement of investment support under Rythu Bandhu scheme here on Tuesday.
At a meeting, Principal Secretary (Agriculture) C. Parthasarathi stated that the data handed over on Tuesday belonged to the villages in Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts. He told the bankers that the data in cheques printed — farmer’s name, investment support amount and others — should not vary from the data given by the Agriculture Department.
