Avendus Wealth Management has decided on Hyderabad as a location for its expansion in view of the city emerging as a hub of entrepreneurs and start-ups.
On Wednesday, the company announced the opening of its first office in the city, at Banjara Hills. The branch will principally focus on the wealth management business, including investment banking, alternative asset management and structured credit solutions.
Started in 2010, Avendus Wealth Management is spread across six cities in the country, including Hyderabad and the U.S. Its business extends a variety of solutions such as bonds, equities, alternates and real estate.
Anubhaw Chandak, Director of Avendus Wealth Management, will lead the team based in Hyderabad, a release said.
