TiE Hyderabad is inviting applications, from high school students (classes 8-12), for its Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) programme.

A TiE release said the programme is for nurturing future generation of entrepreneurs by imparting lessons on entrepreneurship. The last date of applications is August 5, 2016.

TYE’s mission is to offer a business education programme geared toward inspiring young students to be entrepreneurs through mentor-based workshops, said TiE Hyderabad chapter president Suresh Challa. The programme culminates with a business plan competition with cash prizes at the regional level. Students who win their local business plan competition get an opportunity to win a grand prize of $10,000 in the global competition.

Forty students will be selected from various schools in the city, Executive Director Sreedevi Devireddy said.
