Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association has represented to the Telangana Chief Secretary and Governor of both the Telugu States to implement court orders and get the APNGOs building here partly occupied by their Telangana counterparts vacated.

P.Ashok Babu, President of APNGOs’ Association said that a part of the building owned by APNGOs at Gunfoundry was allotted to Bhagyanagar Telangana NGOs by the Telangana Government in an order on June 24.

The APNGOs Association challenged the order issued by the Hyderabad Revenue Divisional Officer in the High Court as the building was a private property of the association.

The court in its order on June 28 suspended the Government memo and also the orders of the Hyderabad District Collector and RDO.

Mr. Ashok Babu and association general secretary N.Chandrasekhara Reddy met the Chief Secretary S.P.Singh on Tuesday and represented to them to implement the court orders and issue instructions to the district authorities to get the premises allotted to BTNGOs Association vacated and handover the premises to the APNGOs Association.

They also met the Governor E.S.L.Narasimhan and urged for his intervention under Section 8 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act and do justice to the APNGOs.

‘Unlawful occupation’

They said that some of the Telangana NGOs unlawfully occupied part of the private building purchased by APNGOs in August 1967 with the contribution from employees from13 districts of AP only.

The property was developed in phases by the former leaders of APNGOs. It was also made clear to the Nampally Tahsildar in October , 2016 and Hyderabad Collector when BTNGOs requested the Telangana government to divide the APNGOs Home.

The action of Hyderabad RDO in allotting part of APNGOs Home to Telangana NGOs was arbitrary. The government’s interference in the private property was in violation of the APRA, 2014, they said.

They also requested the Governor to give directions to the police to give protection to the APNGOs premises till the case was finalised and protect the property.
