Annual credit plan launched

Outlay shows an increase of nearly 13.5 %

The annual credit plan for Adilabad district for the year 2018-19, with an outlay of ₹2,22 crore was launched late on Wednesday by Collector D. Divya. The outlay shows an increase of nearly 13.5 % over last year’s ₹2,134.83 crore.

The lending in priority sector has also gone up by almost a similar percentage. Say, if the lending was ₹1,909 crore last year, it is ₹2,165.2 this year. Crop loans as usual take a lion’s share in the outlay with ₹1,473. 9 which is an increase of ₹145.37 crore over last year’s ₹1,328.5 crore. This is an increase of about 11% over last year.

Agriculture term loans and allied activities have been apportioned ₹363.5 crore and an increase of about ₹58 crore over last year’s about ₹305 crore. Over ₹172 crore have been issued by banks so far against RBS cheques.

Joint Collector G. Sandhya Rani, Lead District Manager J.V.S.R.K. Prasad and District Agriculture Officer Asha Kumari were present during launch of the credit plan.
