Anti-Corruption Bureau officials took up simultaneous searches at the residences of Madduvaru Sarat Babu, a Motor Vehicle Inspector, his friends & relatives at MP & MLA’s Colony Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills and Tarnaka on Wednesday and detected assets worth about Rs.4 crore, a bureau press release said on Wednesday. The officer has been arrested.
The assets include a house at Jubilee Hills, a flat at Erramanzil and three plots in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills. The officer also owns agricultural land at Patancheru, Choutuppal and Hayatnagar. Lockers and bank accounts are yet to be verified.
