ACAP awards presented

Adventurers Ch. Ravi Paul of Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI), Ukkunagaram, Visakhapatnam, and Umakanth Sunkari of Hyderabad have bagged State Adventure Awards, instituted by Adventure Club of Andhra Pradesh (ACAP) on Sunday.

Physical Director of Suchitra Academy School, Suchitra Junction, Bowenpally, V. Venkateshwar Rao received the Best Adventure Promoting Teacher Award while Oxford Grammar School, Himayathnagar, was chosen as the Best Adventure Promoting School in the State.

Sri Chaitanya Youth Association, a group of youth from Tanakalan village, Nizamabad district, walked away with the Best Adventure Eco Tourism Organisation Award for developing boating activities at Alisagar, Nizamabad district.

The village committee members of Kuntala, Adilabad district, also received the Best Adventure Eco Tourism Organisation Award for promoting eco-adventure tourism at Kuntala waterfalls, Adilabad.
