The district administration has been making all out efforts to link the Aadhaar details of school students. The teachers were directed to fill the information in the Child Info website before August 24.
In the district there are 1,727 schools in which 2,57,923 students are getting educated. Officials were instructed to upload the Aadhaar details of all these students.
According to sources, the details of only 2,48,255 students was loaded onto the Child Info and the Aadhaar details of only 1,91,963 students was seeded. This comes to about 74.43%. The data of remaining students was yet to be ascertained and uploaded by the officials.
In a recent meeting, Joint Collector Vasam Venkateswarlu directed the private schools to upload the data before August 24. He warned that the recognition of private schools would be cancelled if they failed to meet the deadline.
