Assistant professors on contract basis in Telangana University staged a protest demonstration in front of the University College of Arts demanding that the government regularise their service and pay equal wage for equal work as per the directions of the Supreme Court. Speaking on the occasion here on Friday, the Contract Assistant Professors’ Association TU leader W. Dathahare said regularisation of their service would not affect anyone’s interest.
Indefinite fast
He said that the association would take out a rally from Arts College before launching the indefinite fast on February 13.
