GWMC gets 30 swiping machines

The Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation has procured 30 swiping machines as part of going cashless. The State Bank of Hyderabad General Manager Manikandan handed the machines to Commissioner Sruthi Ojha at a special function here on Thursday. He said that the bank had exempted corporation from paying the rent of ₹ 400 for each machine to encourage cashless transactions. The Commissioner said that they had asked for 75 machines to put them at all transaction points and hoped that the remaining would be delivered by bank soon.
