Body of man who died in Dubai reaches Telangana

Four others who died in fire accident yet to be identified

The body of a native of Telangana who died in a fire accident that occurred at a labour camp in Abu Dhabi on October 19 was brought to the city’s international airport on Wednesday. Four other men from Telangana, who were killed in the same accident that took place at Reem Island, Gulf Dunes Landscaping and Agricultural Services Company, Abu Dhabi have not yet been identified.

The identified body was that of Pitla Naresh son of Bhumaiah Pitla or Machareddy village and mandal of Kamareddy district in the State. The body was identified as DNA samples of his own brother Pitla Swamy who was staying in Abu Dhabi was collected and tested.

The four other bodies have to be identified the same way with the aid of blood relatives with matching DNA samples.

Relatives from the father’s side of the deceased including father, sibling or children will have to go to Abu Dhabi for giving DNA samples for identification of dead bodies and early transportation of the mortal remains from Abu Dhabi to India.

Identification process

The Minister for NRI affairs K. Taraka Rama Rao has informed authorities to be in touch with Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi to fasten the identification process so that the bodies can be brought back home. Three of the deceased were from the State’s Nirmal district and two from Nizamabad district.

The General Administration (NRI) Department has already directed Collector and District Magistrates of Nirmal and Nizamabad to take supporting action.
