Admit children in school: Collector

MEDAK: Collector Bharati Hollikeri called upon the officials to ensure children working at brick kiln and shops were admitted in schools.

Presiding over a meeting on ‘Operation Smile’ held here on Saturday, Ms. Bharati said that all departments should work in coordination to identify children of school going age who were not attending school and admit them in schools.

The officers were also directed to register cases against those hiring children as labour. The Collector has also suggested conducting medical check up for the children and admit the girl children in Kasturba Schools.
