A 20-year-old private executive has alleged sexual assault by her ex-boyfriend at a mall in Noida. She approached the Delhi Police on Saturday following which a zero FIR was registered.
The complainant has claimed that the accused, Yogesh, a resident of Jaitpur in South-East Delhi, whom she has known for two years, bumped into her at the GIP Mall in Noida on Friday. “She claims Yogesh lured her to the basement on the pretext of catching up; once there, he allegedly forced himself on her and sexually assaulted her before escaping,” said a police officer. The accused is understood to have been arrested.
