Warm weekend in Capital

Maximum temperature was 30.1 °C, six notches above normal

The Capital experienced unusually warm weather on Saturday, with the mercury touching 30.1 degrees Celsius, which was six notches above normal.

The minimum temperature too was higher than usual at 14.1 degrees Celsius, which was three degrees above normal, according to the Meteorological Department.

Haze likely on Sunday

The warm weather is expected to continue on Sunday, with the Met Department forecasting 30 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees as the maximum and minimum temperatures, respectively. Sunday is expected to see partly cloudy skies, with mist or haze possible in the morning.

On Friday, Delhi recorded maximum and minimum temperatures of 27 degrees Celsius and 15.4 degrees, respectively.
