March 07, 2017 01:08 am | Updated 01:08 am IST - New Delhi

A father and his son suffered minor injures after a wall collapsed at a school in outer Delhi’s Kanjhawla on Monday afternoon. Ravinder and his son Yashraj, who were standing close to the wall at the time of the incident, were immediately rushed to a hospital.

The police said a hole being dug near the school’s wall had weakened the wall, which then collapsed.

The police control room received a call regarding the collapse at Venus School in Kanjhawla at 2.25 p.m. Four fire-tenders were rushed to the spot, said an officer from the Delhi Fire Service.

No case has been registered so far. The police are investigating negligence on the part of those digging the hole near the school.
