Anticipating heavy traffic in North Delhi, where the last rites of spiritual leader Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj will be performed on Wednesday, the traffic police may issue an advisory to motorists.

The body of the Baba, who died in a car crash in Canada last week, will reach the Capital on Monday.

The body will be placed in Ground No.8, Burari Road, where devotees will be able to pay respect to Baba Hardev Singh from Monday noon to May 18.

“For Wednesday, we will be issuing an advisory for motorists to avoid certain routes,” said Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sandeep Goel.
