Forecast for Tuesday
According to the Meteorological Department, Tuesday is expected to be a clear day with possibility of rain in some areas towards the evening. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to remain the same as Monday — 39 and 30 degrees Celsius respectively.
Meanwhile, Skymet Weather Services, a private company that provides weather forecast, said monsoons will arrive in Delhi either on June 30 or July 1.
The presence of a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal and its subsequent path during the next 48 hours will increase the intrusion of moist winds the from Bay of Bengal to this region. Due to this, heavy rain is not likely to take place during the next two days, explained the forecaster.
Rain spread and intensity will be better after June 29. Also, temperatures are expected to take a dip over the next few days, making conditions favourable for the onset of Monsoon, the forecaster reported.
