Students applying to St. Stephen’s College and Jesus and Mary College (JMC) will first have to fill out the centralised Delhi University (DU) form for merit-based undergraduate admission and then fill out individual forms available on the college websites.

Last year, the two colleges were not part of the centralised online application process of DU that was rolled out for the first time.

This year, the colleges announced in their prospectus that applicants will have to fill their centralised DU form and then the individual college forms.

The two colleges will then conduct their own screening process for admission.

The last date for application is June 12.

Aptitude test, interview

St. Stephens College announced that an aptitude test and interview will be part of the screening process. The weightage for marks in the qualifying exam, a written aptitude test and interview will be 85%, 5%, and 10%, respectively. Candidates will be short-listed for the aptitude test and the interview on the basis of cut-off marks.

The aptitude test will be of 30 minutes’ duration and will be conducted on the same day as the interview. The syllabus for the test will be according the the programme/course that the candidate is applying for.

The college has put up details of the type of questions that will be asked in its prospectus.

Applicants belonging to Persons with Disability (PwD) Category and those applying through Sports quota will be exempted from the written Aptitude Test. Sports admissions will be done based on academic merit accounting for 30% [Class XII marks (15%) + interview (15%)], and sports merit accounting for 70% [certificates (28% ) + field trials (42%)]

The cut-off list will be announced on June 13 and the short-list of applicants along with their interview schedules will be put up on the college website and notice boards on June 14 after 4 p.m. As per the college prospectus, application fee per course is ₹100, residence (hostel) application fee is ₹200 and the sports form is ₹250 per trial. 50% of the seats are set apart exclusively for Christian candidates

JMC will declare its cut-off list on the college's website as per DU’s schedule.

Each department of the college has a unique eligibility criteria based on marks obtained in Class XII examination.
