Finance Minister Manish Sisodia on Thursday said many schemes he had proposed in the budget would only be implemented with L-G Anil Baijal’s approval, hinting at the ongoing tussle between the Aam Aadmi Party government and Raj Niwas.

A total of 12 proposals in the budget, including purchase of 1,000 electric buses, concession for CNG vehicle-users and repair of municipality roads, need approval of the L-G, Mr. Sisodia. Mention in the budget, the doorstep delivery of rations was “rejected” by the L-G earlier this week, he said, adding that if it had been cleared, a consultant would have been appointed in 21 days.
