A 22-year-old who had gone to attend a music concert in Noida on September 8 is still missing five days later, the police said on Wednesday.

The Greater Noida police have lodged an FIR and started search operations.

A senior officer said Manipur resident Pravish Chanam had arrived in New Delhi on September 7 and stayed with a friend that night. He was scheduled to attend a concert by The Chainsmokers in Noida the following day.

After he went missing on September 8, his brother filed a complaint at Knowledge Park police station in Gautam Budh Nagar’s Noida the next day.

“Based on a complaint by the family, an FIR was lodged and a manhunt started,” a police officer said, adding that CCTV footage from the concert venue entrance shows a person being escorted by an unidentified woman but the family is unsure if it is him.

“We are scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas for leads,” the officer said, adding that he was last seen by friends around 9.30 p.m. on September 8.
