A start-up venture, ‘PerSapien Innovations’ has launched ‘Airlens’, an innovative device that can be worn over the nose to purify polluted air. The device was developed in collaboration with AIIMS and IIT Delhi.
The device uses active molecular technology to filter air and has a feedback system via a mobile app that assesses the amount of protection achieved. Director of AIIMS, Randeep Guleria, said, “This is a local, cheaper and more convenient device comparted to face masks.”
