NDMC officials suspended after building collapse

Two North Delhi Municipal Corporation officials were suspended on Tuesday for their alleged role in an incident of a building collapse on Monday.

The assistant engineer and junior engineer of the Building Department of the Sadar Paharganj Zone were suspended pending inquiry into the collapse of a building in Gali Masjid, Tevar Khan, a statement from the civic body said.

In a separate case, two officials of the Rohini Zone were also suspended after the corporation received a complaint about regularisation of amalgamated properties.
