MCD carries out demolitions on 43 properties in two zones

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on Saturday carried out demolitions and sealing on as many as 43 properties across the city.

According to MCD officials, a drive against unauthorised constructions was carried out in Rohini and West zones. The MCD's Building department carried out the demolition action with the help of local police.

In Rohini Zone, the demotion teams took action against properties with unauthorised constructions on the terrace, toilets in balconies, unapproved constructions on the third floor, and an entire floor in one property.

Demolitions were also carried out in Kirti Nagar, Mansarover Garden, Paschim Vihar Extension, Moti Nagar, Chand Nagar, Manak Vihar, Village Tihar, Rajouri Garden, Tagore Garden Extension, Maya Enclave, Subhash Nagar, Sant Garh, Bhera Enclave, Vikas Puri, Uttam Nagar and Udyog Nagar.
