A major fire broke out in north Delhi’s Chandni Chowk on Saturday afternoon, the police said, adding that no injuries were reported in the incident.
Electrical item store
The fire broke out in electrical items store in Sona Bazaar, a fire department official said.
“The incident was reported around 12 p.m. regarding a fire breakout at third and fourth floor of the store. Thirteen fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire was doused by 4 p.m.,” he said. The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained, the police said. Also, the value of loss is yet to be calculated, they added.
Bawana fire
Another incident of fire was reported from a photo frame factory in Bawana Industrial Area on the small hours of Friday.
A call was received at 5.22 a.m. and the fire was doused by 6.10 a.m., a fire official said. “A total of 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot in Sector 5. No injuries were reported in this incident,” he said adding that the cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
